Dr. Linnenbringer is a social demographer and board-certified genetic counselor. Broadly defined, her research explores the complex interplay among social, behavioral, and genetic factors, and their subsequent implications for population health and health disparities. 

Dr. Linnenbringer is also actively developing new lines of research that will examine the impact of emerging precision medicine approaches on the health and well-being of medically underserved populations. To help increase access to clinical genetic counseling services, Dr. Linnenbringer is currently assisting with the development of a new, nationally-accredited genetic counselor training program at Washington University School of Medicine.
